07/08: 750W Convection Cooled Supply (1500W peaks for 5 Min)

Richardson, TX – July 25, 2008 -- DongAh Elecomm has announced the release of their new PSU-750 Series of 750 watt switching power supplies.  The supply features convection cooled operation and low radiated noise especially at lower frequencies with high peak loads up to 1500 watts for up to 5 minutes, making this supply ideal for low noise applications such as high end audio amplifiers.

 

The PSU-750 features Universal AC Input with Active Power Factor Correction; 0~45°C Full Load Convection Cooled Operation;  1500W Peak Load Capability for up to 5 minutes; Low Frequency noise below 50db from 0.15~30MHz; International Safety Approvals including UL60095 / CSA 22.2 No. 60095 / TUV EN60095 for audio applications; CB Report; CE Mark (LVD); and Class B Emissions.   The supply is an open frame design measuring 13.38 x 4.57 x 1.97” with an integral IEC-320 / C14 Inlet.

06/08: 240W with 4 isolated outputs for LED Lighting

LED-240 Power Supply IP65 / UL1310 / UL1585 / IP65Richardson, TX – June 25, 2008 -- DongAh Elecomm has announced the release of their new LED-240 Series of 240 Watt switching power supplies designed for outdoor LED lighting/sign applications.

The LED-240 features 240 Watts of power in an IP65 rated aluminum enclosure for wet environments combined with four isolated and independently regulated 12VDC outputs rated at 5 amps each with UL1310 / 1585 approval. The four 60W outputs meets NEC Class II safety requirements. The unit uses zero voltage switching with four independent synchronous buck regulators to reduce low frequency noise, improve transient response and increase efficiencies.   This 240 Watt convection cooled power supply offers small size of only 4.84 x 6.54 x 2.22”, Universal AC Input, active PFC for EN6100-3-2 Compliance, Class B Emissions, and >85% efficiency.
