On January 26, 2010, DongAh Elecomm Vietnam received the ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

0710: High-efficiency Embedded Power Supply

Whether as a standard or customized product, DongAh Elecomm’s new low profile, embedded power supply provides high power density in a compact 1RU space. The DIRS-4110 Power Shelf offers a flexible, configurable solution for telecom and datacom applications such as storage and wireless transmission networks, data centers and Power Over Ethernet (POE), as well as industrial applications.

The DIRS-4110 Power Shelf packs 6KW in a 19” rack with a controller, three 2KW rectifiers, and output power distribution via breakers or GMT fuses. Rear access AC input and DC output make installation and maintenance easy. A hinged front-cover plate allows ready access to ten GMT-fused outputs. Active current-sharing, hot-swappable rectifiers provide full AC Input and DC Output redundancy for high reliability. The system also provides network and local monitoring (SNMP, TCP/IP, and RS232) via the controller.

The power supply features a -40°C to +70°C temperature range (full load), Ethernet/TCP-IP with SNMP, status/control functions, and is Safety Approved to UL 60950-1 / CE Mark (LVD).

0310: Power Shelf designed for Telecom Installation Requirements

Richardson, TX – March 2010

Most power supply manufacturers focus on power density measured by how much power can fit into a 1U high space. This “1U Power Dense” approach often requires more rack-room than just 1U, as power shelves must equip the user with battery management circuitry, breakers, and various forms of power distribution. In many instances, additional shelf space up to 5U must be allocated to facilitate the many interconnections and distribution between the power shelf and the load.

The CWRS-4150 Power Shelf from DongAh Elecomm consists of a Shelf Controller, four 1U-high 2,000W power modules in stacked pairs on the left side of the shelf. On the right is a hinged front-cover plate for easy access to the GMT-style fuses, RS-232 port, and AC interconnections. Rear connections include 4 well-spaced, high-current studs and a 12-position GMT-fused terminal block. A comprehensive battery management system is onboard with RS-232 communication and GUI software completing the requirements for a complete DC Energy System. It’s clear to see that this 8,000W 2U-high Power Shelf combines the benefits of increased power density with ease of installation and maintenance.
